VanWonen and Saxum & Firmum to jointly develop in Assen

Area developer VanWonen has acquired the location Eemland 1 in Assen from Saxum & Firmum. It has been agreed that the future development will be carried out jointly. The sales process was overseen by Roodhals Capital. At present, the location is temporarily in use as housing for Ukrainian refugees.
With the acquisition of Eemland 1, VanWonen - in collaboration with Saxum & Firmum - will realize its first development in Assen. On an inner-city location, near amenities and plenty of green space. There are currently no concrete plans for the location. Both developers will discuss this with the municipality. Once the planning starts, local residents and other stakeholders will be closely involved through a participation process.
