Start of construction celebration for 39 homes ‘Besterburen’ in Zwolle

Accompanied by a thunderous roll of drums, the alderman gave the official go-ahead for the construction, assisted by Miranda Venekamp-Brandt (VanWonen) and Paul Dijkman (Schutte Bouw & Ontwikkeling). After the exciting kick-off of the start of construction, the future residents had the opportunity to get to know each other and share their first experiences. The alderman congratulated the residents on their new build homes: “As the municipality of Zwolle, we are very pleased that another group of residents has found a beautiful and sustainable home in De Tippe, in a green and easily accessible environment. It is great to see how De Tippe is beginning to take shape. I wish all the buyers much happiness in their new homes.”

Besterburen
The Besterburen project offers something for everyone. There are differences in the sizes and types of the houses, but they all feature a lot of natural light, are sustainable and nestled in green surroundings. A total of 49 new construction homes will be built in Besterburen. Today, the construction of 39 terraced houses commenced.

Schutte Bouw & Ontwikkeling is proud to contribute to this beautiful new neighbourhood in Stadshagen. Paul Dijkman, director, tells that his first house, when his children were little, had a shared courtyard. “Because of the shared courtyard, connecting with neighbours occurs easily. The children play outside and get to know each other. It’s great that they get off their phones or tablets for a while and just have fun playing outside. As young parents, we really enjoyed the frequent spontaneous get-togethers or barbecues with neighbours. I wish all residents of Besterburen enjoyment living here, with much spontaneous socialising!”

De Tippe
The Besterburen project is located in the De Tippe neighbourhood, on the western side of Stadshagen, adjacent to the Westenholte district. The train station is nearby, and the arterial roads are easily accessible from De Tippe. To the north is the Mastenbroekenpolder, a lovely area for walking or cycling. To the west are the green floodplains of the river IJssel.

Registering for Besterburen
