Symbolic first brick laid for Buitenplaats Hofstede in Rijswijk
News item, Area and Property Development
Last week, the first brick of the new-build project Buitenplaats Hofstede in Rijswijk was symbolically laid. Alderman Gijs van Malsen was present to carry out the first masonry work together with the former landowners, Mr Botenga and Mr Kohlinger. Afterwards, the ‘first brick plaque’ was unveiled. It will get a nice spot on the façade of the Mansion. The project comprises 39 spacious and luxurious homes and a new public park. The homes are expected to be handed over in the summer of 2025.
A toast was raised to this wonderful milestone with those present: potential buyers interested in the last apartments still available, officials and the many parties who contributed to the design or are involved in the realisation of Buitenplaats Hofstede.
Buitenplaats Hofstede
Buitenplaats Hofstede is a new exclusive estate in a park-like setting, overlooking a large pond. The development will feature luxury apartments and penthouses in a Mansion, semi-detached villas, forest houses, detached villas and a farmhouse complex. The homes were designed by Zeinstra Verbeek Architecten. BoschSlabbers Landscape Architects did the urban planning and landscaping design.
A few homes are still available
The homes will be gas-free and low-energy. They are built by Bolton Bouw. The handover of the houses and apartments is expected to be in the summer of 2025. There are still some apartments and penthouses available. For more information and registration: www.buitenplaatshofstede.nl.
