Agreements signed for 43 houses in Rieteilanden project in Naaldwijk

Last thursday, alderman Michiel Ferwerda (Municipality of Westland) and Michel Zaadhof (VanWonen/NU Projectontwikkeling) signed the anterior agreement and the land purchase agreement for the development of the Rieteilanden project. This project with 43 spacious and zero-energy houses is a great addition to the new housing development Hoogeland in Naaldwijk. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2025.

On behalf of the municipality of Westland, Alderman Michiel Ferwerda, responsible for Public Space, New Construction and Area Development, Environment, Climate and Animal Welfare, has signed the agreements.

Green light for construction of last 43 homes in Hoogeland
The final step can now be taken in the development of the Hoogeland district in Naaldwijk. 43 more homes will be built on islands 60 and 61. This is one of the last developments of in total 719 homes in various price categories and for various target groups. Alderman Michiel Ferwerda is happy that construction can start now: “This is a wonderful, sustainable neighbourhood that has been eagerly awaiting the last developments. There were a few last hurdles to take to get everything moving for these last islands. We are thrilled that VanWonen/NU Prjectontwikkeling can now start building these 43 beautiful homes.”

A new development of detached and semi-detached houses is underway in the family-friendly neighbourhood of Hoogland, Naaldwijk. Construction starts in spring 2025
The sale of the homes has started. Construction of the homes is expected to begin around March/April 2025.
