Modern village-inspired architecture
Dillekwartier was designed by Weusten Liedenbaum Architecten. The result is a modern, village-inspired architectural style, characterized by natural materials and distinctive details such as eye-catching dormers and finely executed masonry. Every home in this project will be fully zero-energy through integrated building features. This is achieved using robust insulation, solar panels, heat recovery systems and green roofs. There will also be provisions to support local insect, bird and bat populations.
NL Greenlabel
Dillekwartier is the first VanWonen project to receive an NL Area Label. NL Greenlabel’s Area Label is a method for assessing the sustainability of outdoor areas. Based on the themes of climate, biodiversity and health, an integrated approach to design, realisation and management can be achieved. The label provides insight into the degree of sustainability and offers tools to further enhance an area’s sustainability.
Planning
Registration (pre-sale) for the 88 homes in the first phase of Dillekwartier started in June 2025. VanWonen expects to start sales in July. It is expected that the all-in-one building permit will be final by late 2025, with construction beginning in the second quarter of 2026. The handover of the homes is planned for the first half of 2027.
